What a great weekend!

Here is my view of the wedding. As much as I prefer the quiet, boring setting (like my wedding!) This party was a blast. Sheryl was absolutly beautiful along with her bridal party. The nightmare of me in a dress wasnt so bad (I didnt have to look at myself!) and Wendy and Natalie did an awesome job on our hair, at a painful cost afterwards!
Do we have Sheryl's
"drunk on water" picture?
Zach...?
A nice picture of the yougnest siblings
I love the dresses together
The enthusiastic guys ready for catch (or not!)
Great family photo!

"Ron Cain, Fairport NY"

The Cain kids are very familiar with Dad's unique way of introducing himself to strangers in that certain tone and tempo. What those strangers do not know is how he managed to survive six children. There are not many fathers out there would decide to have more children after the first two. As mom has stated before that Dad wanted to have more than six. Either there was something in the West Virginia water that messed up with his reasoning or he truly loved being a father six times over. Not many people today can say they love their job. I am not sure if Dad would say he loves going to work everyday. But I know he loves seeing his children and grandchildren everyday. We have all noticed his pleasant disposition when we walk into the door. And as we have all progressed through adult life Dad is still giving us sound advice, moral and even financial support (if needed). If there was a way Dad can be promoted then I would say let us do it quickly. Contrary to how some businesses run in their evaluation of employees (ask Dad about CareStream Health's) Dad has always exceeded expectations at home. So when we hear Dad give his signature introduction to people I hope we can remember how lucky we are to have great father.

Wow, it seems like the Walkers kind of fell of the blog world for a while.  Between sickness and traveling we haven't had a whole lot of quiet time to update the blog so sorry about that.  Grace had her last day of pre-school in the 3's class.  She'll be in the 4's next year.  They had an indoor picnic and the kids sang songs and did finger plays.  The presentation had a room full of parents gushing and "ooing" and "ahhing".  There were more camera flashes than at any Hollywood red carpet event (minus any scandalously reveling necklines).  Grace is anxious to see her school friends over the summer.  She'll be taking swimming lessons, scattering flower petals as the flower girl and Aunt Sheryl's wedding, and spending some time with Grandparents in NY over the summer.

Marshall is trying very hard to crawl.  He's very frustrated that he hasn't mastered it yet and I don't think it will be long before I have to chase him all over the house.  He's teething but not teeth yet!

It's been rain, rain and more rain here.  I hope this isn't some kind of omen for the rest of the summer!
