Dear Family,
As per the e-mail I sent out today inviting all of us to rejuvinate our CainChronicles with a small project called "3 blessings and a challenge" I, as mother superior, will take the first steps of declaration into the new year of 2012 with this beginning offering. I hope these will inspire you each to participate and also to realize that you are not alone in your challenges and help you to realize that a little more focus on our blessings helps us bear and even profit from our challenges.
I will begin with a challenge, a positive word for problem, and then bear it up with 3 blessings.
Challenge: Overcome feelings of worry and fear about economy and politics.
Blessings: 1. Ron and I are still physically and mentally healthy.
2. We still have income from his job and are working to eliminate our debt.
3. We have the gospel of Christ that keeps us focused on the most important
things: the power of love in a strong marriage and family, the healing of
power of forgiveness, the peace in faith and testimony that God is over all
and keeps his promises to those trying to do what is right.
"His eye is on the sparrow and I know he watches over me"
