Adam Grows

Lauren started back to work this week, and I'm playing Mr. Mom 3 days a week. It has been fine so far, I just need to figure out how to get a little more work done while Adam is napping. Lauren has transitioned back to work smoothly, and they've been willing to let her pump 3 times in her shift.

Adam is getting bigger, he's filling out 3-6 month clothes now. He's starting to interact some too - he has a giggly laugh, he kicks in his bouncer when the hanging things rattle, and when I get a bottle of milk from the fridge, he won't take his eyes off it.

He's starting to get a bit of dexterity in his hands, occasionally he will catch some of the many hanging things he encounters on his two playmats, his swing, and his bouncer, though mostly by accident. Today he grabbed his pacifier, pulled it out of his mouth, held on to it for a while, and made some failed attempts to put it back where he'd got it. His method of getting things into his mouth remains the grab and jam, though he invariably ends up jamming his fists into his mouth rather than whatever he's holding.

Sheryl was an auditory witness tonight to both the pacifier waving and laughing. Anyhow, we thought you'd like to see some videos of Adam we took today, and some pictures from the last week.

This is proof of the great genetics
from the Cain and Giambattista lines. Good looks and super abilities. What more can we ask for. Adam is a super baby!
It's the opinion of a completely prejudiced Nana.
