I felt the need to post this before I forgot. Those of you who were on the vacation know that Sean was a favorite for the boys! As we were driving home, I commented to Zach how nice it was to spend time with Cara and Lauren (because we dont ever get to see them!) and before I could say anything else... two little eavesdroppers in the back seat yelled out in unison "AND SEAN!!!"
So Sean - you were obviously enjoyed by the boys! Sorry you were the only one they chose to stalk, and thank you for putting up with it.
And Lauren and Cara, it really was great to see you guys for a week. I hope we get to do this again (maybe in 2 years rather than one)
And while Im at it, I will say, spending that much time with the Cain Clan, surley would have made anyone else insane! I must be meant for the family (not saying I didnt get a little worn out at times!!)
You all really are a great bunch of people! And Amber, you were missed, I mentioned a couple times, everyone gathered in the living room, but no Amber, and little baby footprints in the sand, thinking of Gracers! Maybe 2 or 3 years is enough time for everyone to plan?

Having grown up as the oldest of 6, Jordan and Damien (spelling?) really didn't bother me. My two youngest sisters (Allison & Dana) used to bother me far more, and Dana still does.
Yep, I agree! Being the oldest of six really does prepare you for all the stuff the kids like to do. I've been a primary teacher in every ward I've lived in and I think it's because I have kid proof stamped all over me. In my case we always had an additional 3 or 4 kids due to mom's after school care. Plus we usually had 3 or 4 or 5 cats running around.
ps, I'm curious how Holly and Sean handled the "let's take 2 hours to decide our plan for the day" factor. Of course I won't hold it against you if you plead the 5th :)
I'm sure all the Cain clan stuff was no surprise to Holly and Sean. As far as the decision making went it really was about two hours. It didn't matter what we were deciding to do,it took two hours but I really had a good time. I think if we plan for 2009 that would give us more time to plan better and have the whole family be there.
I agree with Nat, and yes just about everything took that long... I couldnt believe it. We'd think we have things set, then suddenly were back at the beginning!
