to sire Eternity’s future
and lead them home again.

Father,
The diligent provider,
Sacrifices body and spirit
to feed Posterity’s hunger.

Father,
the patriarch, counselor, friend,
guides, lifts, supports, endures
with Love’s example beyond fatigue.

Father,
The valiant guardian
Defends the home front sacred
with Truth’s armor against Fear’s doubt.

Father,
The faithful steward,
begins and completes the circle
of our eternal family
